Enter the Drifter: Lone Wolf

As Jax walked into the main hall of the school, he noticed that there was an unusually high amount of vampiric-type beings in the general vicinity. He was studying out some of the awards that the school had won, when he suddenly felt several needle pricks poking at his neck. He stiffened, trying not to give away his surprise. "...And what is a little puppy like you doing in a place like this, hmm?" "'Ello, guv'na'! I'm just lookin' 'round. New in town an' such, ya know?" The points were instantly removed, and Jax turned to face them. What he saw was a very pretty, business-typy-looking woman. "Well now, pardon me. Are you looking to join this institution?" "Yep, looked pre'y swanky. Oh, by the way, I'm Jax." "I'm Claudia, the Student Relations Advisor. So if you will come this way, I'll get you situated..."

As Loru went outside to the track, she saw two people in the hallway but didn't take a good look at them cause she was in a hurry.

Several minutes later, Jax had his new schedule, uniform, and he had even found that they had a dorm for exchange students. Claudia had told him that he had arrived in time to go to still make some of his classes, starting with PE. He headed to the locker rooms to get changed, then he headed to the field for PE. As he got there, he caught a strange scent on the air, one that seemed both ancient and ageless, old and new. The scent of... a Timekeeper...

"Hey look, another new guy, thats the 3rd one today." said Sara. Loru looked at the guy coming to the field, "Lets go and say hi." Sara grabbed her hand and ran to the new guy, "Aw come on, I don't want to." Sara looked back and smiled, "Oh your such a sour puss." Loru couldn't help but laugh. They meet up with the new guy, "Hello, I am Sara." She said smiling. "I am Loru, her friend. Welcome to school." Loru said holing out a hand.

Jax shook the white-haired girl's hand. "I'm Jax, just arrived in town. So, what are we doing today?"

"Run the track." Loru pointed to the track (no duh, it is a track) "10 laps."

Jax grinned suddenly. Running? Really? He asked Loru."Wanna race?" He knew that, as a lycan, that he was a beast of speed rather than power.

"How about a bet?" Loru said as she placed her hands on her hips, "If I win, you owe me a favour. Name something if you win, I know I can beat you." Then smiled.

Loru smiled, "Deal." They went to the start of the track, "Ready....GO." and Loru took off. She was the fastest in her class.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Jax sprinted after Loru, gaining at a swift pace. At about the third lap, he drew level with her. "Is tomorrow good?", he asked, before rocketing forward, finishing in a record time.

At the end, Jax won, Loru leaded on her knees and panted, "Dam...I...lost." But smiled, "That is...a new record for me." She looked up at Jax, "Tomorrow is good. Can You pick me up at 5pm?" (no full moon please, I rather have a good date lol ^^)

Jax was somewhat winded by the exercise, but he quickly recovered."Can do, love. By the way, do you know the way to the 'Old Country'?"

"Old country? Do you mean the old world?" Loru asked curious but blushed when she realized that he said love (awwwwww ur so cute)

"Yea, I went there once, but haven't been able to get back."

Loru smiled, "Well I can help with that, meet me at my house, a half an hour from here at 5 pm." The bell rang, "Well got to go to English." then kissed his cheek, "Bye." then ran off.

Jax stands there, somewhat stunned. In town for two hours, and he already has a girlfriend... He shakes his head to clear it, and heads over to his next class, which is Elvish. (teh language)

(Skipping time, ^^) Finely school was over and everyone was heading home, it was now 3:30 pm which left 1 and a half hours. Loru took a shower and dresses in a dress which she rarely wore. It was a dark purple dress but she was going to stick with her sneakers cause she hated to wear high heels and sandals. She put on her mothers small gold heart necklace and braided her hair in a single long braid at the back. It was now 4:53 pm.

Jax walks up to Loru's house, dressed in his normal outfit of a black sleeveless hoodie, purple cargo shorts and tan leather sandals. He checked his pockets, making sure his well packed wallet was inside. He was thinking that they could catch a bite to eat before the movie, and then they could head to the 'Old Country'. He also carried a lone black rose, a gift for Loru. he rang the doorbell and waited.

Loru opened the door and saw it was Jax and smiled, "Hello Jax."

"'Ello, love. Y'all ready to do this?" He held out the rose, hoping that she would like it.

"Yes." she took the rose, "Thank for the rose, i love roses." (and I do)

Jax grinned, going Whew! internally. "Alright, let's go!"

Loru smiled warmly towards him, he was so sweet which made him cute. "So what is the movie called?"

"'The Host', I think it's from a book. I found a copy of the book as I was drifting, and it was pretty good. I hope the movie is as good." By this time, they were walking down the street, passing an old comic book store. "Hey, after the movie, wanna stop by there?"
